Supporting local events
We are proud to support events that bring local people together.
We have sponsored the Halsall Village Fête, supporting an event that celebrates the village in which our office is located and provides an opportunity for the local community to come together.
For us, supporting events like this is about more than putting our name on a banner. It is about contributing to the community that has been such an important part of our business for more than two decades.
Giving back through fundraising
In 2026, we took our community involvement a step further when Charlie ran the London Marathon in support of Queenscourt Hospice.
Taking on the marathon was a personal challenge, but more importantly it provided an opportunity to raise money and awareness for a charity that does such important work supporting local people and their families.
We are proud of the support we received from clients, friends, family and the wider community throughout the fundraising campaign.
And we're not stopping there.
In 2027, we will once again be taking on the London Marathon, this time with fundraising at the heart of our involvement.
We look forward to using the challenge to raise further funds for a worthwhile cause and bringing our clients and local community along with us.
Investing in the next generation
We also believe that supporting our community means helping to develop the people who will shape it in the future.
We have worked with Edge Hill University business students, giving students the opportunity to gain insight into the workings of a real financial services business and the careers available within the industry.
We enjoy sharing our experience with the next generation and learning from their ideas and perspectives in return.
